Each piece in this limited cicada series is entirely unique, often beginning with a vintage frame reimagined around its own layered backdrop. A substantial vintage cicada, one of eleven originally belonging to a single oversized necklace, rests among feathers and natural elements such as birch bark, micro dried florals and moss, beneath an abstract moon created from vintage beads and findings.
